VoiceBox Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the VoiceBox application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Use of the App

  • a. Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

  • b. License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the App.

  • c. Account Responsibility: If the App requires you to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. User Content

  • a. Ownership: You retain ownership of the audio recordings and other content you create using the App. By using the App, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

  • b. Prohibited Content: You agree not to use the App to record or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. You are solely responsible for the content you create and share.

4. Intellectual Property

  • a. Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the App and its content, including trademarks, logos, and software, are owned by VoiceBox or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property except as expressly provided herein.

  • b. Restrictions: You may not use any of our trademarks or other proprietary information without our prior written consent.

5. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • a. No Warranty: The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

  • b. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for using the App.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoiceBox, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including legal fees, arising out of, or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the USA, Tinley Park, Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the USA, Tinley Park, Illinois.
